Finals Affirmations 12/16
I am here to encourage you, but let me also be real: Sometimes we don’t prepare enough, sometimes things don’t work out the way we want, sometimes we fail. Nobody likes failing anything, but even in failing, there’s a lesson. Whether we learn that we need to give something more of our attention or a certain method of studying wasn’t for us, there’s always something positive that can come from our negative situations.
My sister, Grace, is our church’s HS ministry’s youth pastor. This past Sunday she said, “Just because you’ve failed, doesn’t mean you’re a failure.” Things don’t always work in our favor, and that’s okay. We should not let those moments define us. We need to take what we can form those situations and keep pushing ‘til the end.
We may fail, but God never does. Our failing moments are never the end. It’s where He comes in. He comes in and takes over, so we can get back up on our feet and finish doing the work we’re supposed to do. He doesn’t just do this once, he does it again and again and again.
Today, remember: He makes a way where there is no way.
