Finals Affirmations 12/20
O God,
You’ve done it for me! I am finished! Thank you, Lord. You have gotten me through these past few months. What more can I say, but thank you? How can I adequately show my gratitude for the One who has done it all for me?
There were so many times when I was stressed, but you calmed me down. There were times when I wanted to give up, but you helped me to my feet. There were many times when tears came down, but you comforted me. You provided me help when I thought all hope was lost. You whispered encouraging words into my heart. You provided me with people who lifted me up and for that, I say thank you.
Father, if there was ever a time when I did something that did not please you, I ask that you reveal it to me and also forgive me. Help me to turn away from anything that does not please you. If there was ever a time when I was neglecting you, Father forgive me. If I was ever disobedient, please forgive me. Help me to understand the times where I was wrong in your sight, so I may not repeat such things. Help me to grow in you, so I may continue to happily serve you.
With this holiday season, surround me with love, the kind that Mary and Joseph felt when they brought Your Son into the world, the kind He showed others when He was here on Earth. Help me to remember the true reason, people celebrate at this time. With this break, God, I ask that you grant me rest, so I may be ready to continue working even harder in the spring. Help me to reset my mind, my body, and my spirit. Help me use this time to become closer with you and grow in my walk with you.
I love you and praise your holy Name for all the things you have done for me. May I continue living a life that pleases you.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
