Fall '19 Finals Affirmations Day 3 by Jariatu Jambai

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7

I’ve been noticing that time after time, there is one thing that is always true, God is faithful and He cares about us. He cares about you. And because He cares, He longs to be with you and help you. You may have heard this a billion times or maybe this is your first time, but I want, and He wants, to make it CLEAR that He is interested in e v e r y facet of your life..and that includes finals season. 

I don’t know where you are during this finals season..whether you are stable, unstable, sad, happy, discouraged, empowered, etc, no matter where you are, He cares and He is still present enough to help you and tend to your heart and your situation. He cares enough to give you peace when you are overwhelmed, to show you what you need to study, when to rest, when to eat, who to ask for help, all this and more! So, when you are going through this finals season, and you’re going through it, remember that there is Someone who cares about you and cares for you. And it is okay to be honest with Him about how you feel..it doesn’t scare Him. If you are angry, tired, over it, tell Him that, and wait for Him to respond. He is a God that responds because He cares. DO NOT FORGET THAT. 

This is the last thing lol. I’m saying all of this as a graduate, so I’m not just saying these things to say it, but I’m saying this because He saw me through finals season….ALL 8 OF THEM (Lord, thank you because I graduated lol)! Anywho, I want you to be encouraged because Jesus Christ cares for, loves, cherishes, and is interested in you!
