Finals Affirmations Day 1 - Fall 2021

Hey there! Good morning! You made it to the end of your quarter/semester! First and foremost, I’d like to tell you that I'm so proud of you! Also, I’m so excited that you’re here!

It’s your day 1 of finals week! I’m sure this fall has had its challenges, but you should be proud of yourself for making it to this point.

Make sure to take that in and remember that you deserve to be proud of that accomplishment! Finals season can be really tough, but do what you can to take care of yourself because school and grades matter yeah but *you* matter more. Study, take breaks, sleep well, eat well, dress up a bit- it’ll make you feel nice. And remember that God is on your side. Trust that He who has brought you to this point, will continue to carry you through its end.

Heavenly Father,

I pray for this lovely individual reading this right now. Thank You for bringing them through this time. You’re worthy of praise! I’m sure there were times throughout when the end was not in sight, times when the stress was just too much to even express, times of break down, times of wanting to give up, and maybe even at times actually giving up on the tasks set before us but God you were with them through it all. You gave them strength where they were weak, hope when it was all lost, encouragement at times when they needed it most. So thank you for your provision.

As they enter this time of exams, I pray that you give them peace in their spaces. Quiet their hearts and their minds at this time, God. Take away any outside pressure, any outside distractions and grant them Your peace that just doesn’t make sense. Guide their minds and their hands during the time of taking tests, doing projects, and writing papers. They’ve done as much as they could up until this point, so God I ask that you take over! Do what You do best. Let this exam season be a testament to how good You are in their lives. Provide all their needs at this time and help them to give themselves grace as needed.

Show up in a great way, O God!

In Jesus’ wonderful name,

Amen 💛
