To Someone in Need

To the person that’s in need:

Praise him for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are not a mistake, not unimportant, not taken for granted. You are special. Made for a purpose that may not be known now, but hopefully fulfilled by kingdom come. I pray you don’t feel as though you’re worth nothing or that your life does not matter, because you mean everything to your Father in Heaven. 

Don’t you understand that you’re royalty? The daughter or son of a King who would do anything for you. He has your best interest in mind and loves you more than you’ll ever understand. I pray that you carry yourself as such. That when you wake up, you give thanks to Him for this life that you have received. And when you look in the mirror, you see the precious gold that you are worth, the prized possession that you are. That you see that you’re a priceless gift. I hope that when people see you, they sense a difference and that difference is Him. That they see a glow in you because you are a light of this world, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden. That when your name is uttered, their spirits understand who are you are. That your presence is a magnet that attracts others to you. 

I pray that you love yourself so much that others are jealous, not because they want to be you, but because they want the confidence that you have. One that is divine and can only come from Your Creator. I hope that you love yourself in such a way that models the way God loves you. I hope you understand that it’s okay not to love every single thing about yourself because you are not perfect, but that you don’t beat yourself up because of it. Because the One that made you understands this and still loves all of you anyway. 

I pray that you love yourself to the best of your ability so that you may learn to love others as well.
